Mayflower beach, off Dunes Road in Dennis, is an essential summertime spot along the mid-Cape that sees thousands of visitors every year. This beach is really only a slice of the northern Dennis shoreline on Cape Cod Bay, stretching from Nobscusset Point at the eastern end to the Chapin beach shoulder at the western end. This beautiful border encompasses three beaches in one: Chapin, Mayflower and Bayview beach.
Mayflower beach is one of the most unique shoreline experiences available to Cape Codders. At low tide you can walk for miles on the tidal flats, making it both a prime spot for photographers and sunset-chasers alike.
