Bhai Manjh Ji (formerly known as Teeratha) was a powerful feudal lord and a leader of the Sakhi Sarvar sect, a major rival faith during the time of the Gurus. But one meeting with Guru Arjan Dev Ji in Amritsar changed his life forever.
The Guru warned him: "Sikhi is finer than a hair and sharper than a dagger". To walk this path, Bhai Manjh had to demolish his own shrine, endure a social boycott, and face extreme poverty.
