Toyota Rear Axle Seal/Bearing Replacement (Non-ABS Rearend)

*PLEASE READ THIS AND THE COMMENT WE PINNED BEFORE STARTING THIS JOB.*
In this video, we show you how to replace the seals, bearings and retainers on a 3rd Gen 4runner with a Non-ABS rearend. This repair would also relate to other Toyota vehicles like the older pickups, 1st Gen Tacomas and 1st Gen Tundras.

**If you don't want to invest in the special tools needed to do this job, you could pull the axles out and take them to a shop that can do the press work for you. Pulling the axles yourself and reinstalling them will at least save you some money.

** One thing I forgot to mention in the video is a clogged breather could be the cause of a leaking axle seal. The excessive pressure finds the path of least resistance and that's the oil seals at the ends of the axle housing.
