The Workers Museum in Copenhagen engages people in the history of the Danish labour movement and the development of living and working conditions of the working class in Denmark. Established in 1983 and based on focused collections holding a variety of materials and an active research profile, the institution creates, co-creates, and houses a wide variety of permanent and special exhibitions, learning programmes, events and other activities, all aimed connecting histories about the welfare state, the flexicurity model, and the labour market with present-day discussions and reflections about the future.
