However, as Guru is planning a Nürburgring trip in the near future. So we've decided to pivot our update schedule to focus on Nürburgring lap vlogs, hoping to connect with fellow Nürburgring enthusiasts through our videos.

This trip to the Nürburgring was in Oct. 2023, with the temp of 22°C during flying laps. Taking a Chinese car to Germany for a lap time challenge was a complex and daunting project for our small team, filled with numerous challenges along the way. Guru personally funded the purchase and mods of the car, but upon knowing of our plan to take the Empow R to the Nürburgring for testing, GAC sponsored the transportation costs. The car is Trumpchi Empow R, manufactured by GAC, released in 2023 with an MSRP of 138,000 RMB (about $19.2k USD). We invested close to $10k in mods, which is why you might hear us refer to it as the Empow RR in the video. A detailed list of these mods and costs can be found below. (although we did modifications, the ESP cannot be fully disabled, which significantly slow down the lap time)
