Clallam EDC Executive Director Colleen McAleer talks with Dr. Dan Underwood & Ted Hennessey about the EDC's effort to interviewed 508 people at local grocery stores, thus ensuring a randomized, representative sample of our population in the fall of 2021. We asked if they were part of our working population or not and in which industry they work. We cover what people's top concerns were from options such as:
Access to public transportation
Access to quality health care
Reliable access to high-speed internet
Finding a job that will allow me to meet my financial obligations
Finding suitable housing that is affordable (rent or own)Paying local and state taxes
Finding affordable child care
