This is a nodejs trick that you should know. Sometimes we use chalk to print colored text. But when using symlink, we may not get the colored text as desired rather we get a regular plain text.

In that case, we use the following command in the terminal or command prompt:

export FORCE_COLOR=true

Then the expected colored text is printed with symlink.

Disclaimer: This is a temporary solution for the problem.
