Today was a busy day. I started it with making my breakfast before heading out to HEB to check out the prices locally. While there, there were several low carb sides reduced 50% off and picked up 2 packages of bacon on sale. There was also some fresh berries at reasonable prices to incorporate into my smoothies this week. Upon arriving home filming a grocery haul with the clearance and sale items along with the prices was important and it was fun putting up the fresh produce marked 50% off into the freezer for later use. What a blessing to find it so cheap!
Receiving friend mail and opening it up was the next task that needed to get done. It was so much fun going through all those boxes and packages to see what was bought for Chico and I! Thank you so much for the gifts! Chico was so curious but leery of the items in the boxes but it was important to get him to not fear the new gifts he received and get to use them on him as soon as possible. What fun it was to teach him that it was not scary but a nice thing for his paws!
Spending time making low carb and keto friendly meals is always my goal throughout the day. It is important to keep on track and making it easy to follow. Making it simple today by using the food already prepared in the fridge and following my meal plan was important as well.
Thank you for coming along with me today and sharing my day with you. It is so much fun and Chico and I appreciate you watching. Even if I mess up! The bloopers behind the scenes are so funny sometimes. LOL
