Gamma Psi Nu and Phi Rho Alpha in High School Band It’s a student-led band-specific brotherhood/sisterhood/auxiliary group associated with a band
These types of groups exist in many high school band programs as spirit, leadership, or support organizations for boys and girls who participate in the band (e.g., flag line, majorettes, dance line, or band auxiliaries).
Their purpose is usually to build teamwork, leadership, school pride, and community service within the band rather than serve as a college Greek sorority or fraternity
It’s not connected to a national sorority or fraternity organization or governed by a Greek Council.
