Korean Language basics
Korean language was created in 1443 by the team of scholars in the royal research organization named "jiph-yeon-jeon", under the direction of king sejong of the joseon dynasty. The Korean alphabet named as Hanguel.
Earlier Korean used Chinese alphabets named hanja but it was very difficult for the Koreans to learn and memorize it. So,king sejong developed the Hanguel, to literate his people. The Korean alphabet has three basic principles.
Hanguel is based on three shapes:-
first ● dot which represents sky
second ______ sleeping line which represents earth and
third | standing line which represents human.
Different combination of these three basic shapes generate the Hanguel vowels.
