🍪 Ingredients
Maida (All-purpose flour) – 70g (1 cup +1tbsp)
Unsalted Butter (soft) – 42g(3tbsp)
Powdered Sugar – 25g
Brown Sugar –25g
Milk-1tbsp
Vanilla Essence – Few drops
Baking Powder – ½ tsp
Baking Soda – ¼ tsp
Chocolate Chunks – 1/4 cup
Bake at 170°C for 10-12 mins
🍪 Chocolate Chip Cookies – Baking Tips
▪️Butter should be soft, not melted
Soft butter gives chewy texture. Melted butter makes cookies flat.
▪️Do not overmix the dough
Overmixing makes cookies hard. Mix just till everything combines.
▪️Use more brown sugar than white sugar
Brown sugar gives moisture and chewy center.
▪️Always preheat the oven
Never bake in a cold oven. Preheat for at least 10 minutes.
▪️Do not overbake
Take cookies out when edges are golden and center looks soft.
They will firm up while cooling.
▪️Use parchment paper or greased tray
Prevents sticking and gives even baking.
▪️Let cookies cool on tray for 5 minutes
They break if moved immediately. Let them set first.
▪️Add extra chocolate chips on top before baking
Makes cookies look bakery-style and more tempting.
▪️Store in airtight container
Keeps cookies soft for 4–5 days.
