The premier event of the annual AdventHealth Watermelon 5k really is the Watermelon Eating contest (WEC)!
Contestants sign up on race day to be part of the WEC and it's typically judged by the Florida Watermelon Queen. The male and female contestants who eat the most watermelon in one minute are declared the winners!
