Following the events of Battle Racer, a deeper conflict begins to surface.
Behind the spectacle of the race, the Council has already set its plans in motion. Fearing exposure, they contact the Dominion General, authorizing a full scale purge. The order is simple. Eliminate anyone who may uncover the truth and recover what was never meant to be seen.
What Kael is supposed to inherit is exposed. A Key.
A construct tied to a place that exists outside ordinary reach. A place that cannot be taken, only granted. Entry is not earned through power or conquest. It requires invitation.
The Council’s plan was to let Kael win.
To send him away.
To isolate him somewhere unreachable.
And while the world celebrated a champion, the Dominion would quietly seize what Kael had the right to possess.
But Kael is still on Ferric, and word of the construct has begun to spread.
Now, multiple factions within the Dominion turn on one another, racing to reach the key first. Each believes it holds unimaginable power. Each believes they deserve it. And none of them understand what it truly is.
As Dominion forces descend, the Watchers intervene, not to claim the construct, but to protect it. Their mission is survival, to escape with the key, keep Kael alive, and preserve the fragile balance holding the races and the worlds together.
What begins as a retrieval operation becomes a war.
Not for territory.
Not for dominance.
But for the right to decide who is allowed to choose.
