Описание: The clip here is of the late Nagamine Shoshin performing his favorite form Wankan. This video was taped in 1992 at the renovation opening of the Shuri Castle. There are many films of him performing this kata going back to the late 60's. According to Nagamine Senseis book, he believed the form to have a long history. In other documents I found, it was stated that the form goes back to the end of the Meiji period.
