Due to COVID-19 related school closures, teachers and other educators are in a key position to support families with setting up positive behavior supports that can help to prevent behavior challenges. This ECHO Autism: Special Edition series will provide teachers and other educators with tools, strategies and resources to coach families in how to set up new learning routines while supporting positive behavior during home-based instruction.
Partnering with Families offers strategies for educators who are starting to set up distance education with their students including: how to engage families in the planning process, develop a coaching session agenda, and shares resource for parent coaching. This Zoom meeting was recorded during the ECHO Autism meeting on 4/2/2020.
