Flight 1676 from Funchal to Lisbon
Taken from Seat 1A (Business Class)

It was a very breezy day for our flight to Lisbon. Sorry about the window frame in the view. The window in seat 1A is placed forward of the seat and I was stretching to hold the camera in place. You really see how close the hillside is to the runway! After takeoff you get a view of Canical and we overfly the eastern part of the island (which is a great hike to do if you're ever there!)
Due to traffic congestion we were held off the coast of Lisbon for about 30 minutes in a holding pattern.
