How To Cook Steak Perfectly - Cast Iron Steak
This could be the easiest steak you have ever cooked.
The Brandy Cream Sauce was a great compliment to this Steak Recipe.
If you like your Steak closer to well done, add about 1 minute to the cook time on each side. If you are going for a rare steak, reduce the cook time by about 1 minute each side.
Ingredients For Pan Seared Steak With Brandy Cream Sauce:
***This was more than enough for 3 Strip Steaks***
Steaks at room temperature seasoned with salt and pepper
Clarified Butter or a thin layer of cooking oil (to cook steak)
*1 Cup Shallots (to taste) or white onions
2 Ounce jar of Capers with no brine (to taste)
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic (to taste)
1 Tbsp Pepper (to taste)
1 1/4 Cup Beef Stock
3 Ounces Brandy
Heavy Cream
