St. George Forane Church Muthalakodam is a historic church located in Thodupuzha, Idukki district, Kerala, India. The church is believed to have been constructed initially before the 13th century and has been rebuilt several times since then. The current structure was built in 1973. It's one of the most ancient churches in Kerala, founded in the name of St. George, and is considered a major pilgrimage center for the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. The church has a unique statue of St. George with his face tilted towards the left and a beard, believed to have been sculpted abroad.
