*THRASH*Journey on the 91M:ADL Enviro 400 Voith|ATSE50,RW7232|LondonBuses632

Описание: Last time in April 2023 when I was in Hong Kong, I tried to film an Enviro400 Voith, in order to have a comparison with the ones in London. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well, so I decided to film it again this time while I was there. At first, I thought it was an MMC, but it turns out that it was the exact same one that I photographed days ago!

This route had a rare working when I was in Hong Kong, but I didn’t go for it since I was getting my new device. It was an MCV D123-bodied Volvo B8L (retro version), coming from Tuen Mun Garage! All of those retro B8Ls were running across Hong Kong, making me feel too confused about which one to board. Anyway, let’s talk about something else.

91M was one of the most remembered childhood routes, allocated with Volvo Olympians. They were only 11 metres long, due to the narrow roads around Clear Water Bay (清水灣). Now that the government has allowed 12-metre vehicles to run on these roads, buses shorter than 12 metres are becoming less common. Luckily, I caught this one at around half 8 at night, allowing the driver to thrash around that rural area!

And honestly, the reason I even filmed this in the first place was because I missed my bus and had to wait nearly half an hour. Instead of wasting time, I thought, “why not make the most of it and record something before going back to London?” So here it is — enjoy the video!
