Deuteronomy 28:1–2 says “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments… that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.”

Joshua 1:7–8 says "Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law… that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night… then thou shalt have good success.”

Faithful obedience to God opens the door to His blessings, protection, and closeness, while turning away brings spiritual and often temporal consequences, including distance from His guiding presence.

This principle encourages reflection in that obedience isn’t about perfection but heartfelt commitment, repentance when we fall short, and trusting God’s promises lead to true flourishing, peace & happiness. #jesus #god #faith #obedience #fyp
