And finally， the European Union has called on the U.S. to end its embargo on Cuba.
This as both Washington and Havana are pushing to restore diplomatic relations... after more than 50 years of hostilities.
EU Foreign Policy Chief... Frederica Mogherini... made the announcement on Tuesday in Havana.
She said that lifting of the economic embargo would bring in investment，... but more importantly， benefit the Cuban people.
Mogherini also spoke about her meeting with Cuban leader Raul Castro.
″But we discussed in particular the need to structure our dialogue on human rights and to make sure that on one all human rights can be respected. We discussed also the human rights situation in Cuba but also the human rights situation in Europe which is something that I always like to remind ourselves， us Europeans， we are not there to teach and to preach， we also have our own challenges at home.″
Human rights is a sensitive subject in Cuba.
Critics accuse the one－party state of monopolizing the media and restricting free speech， all in the name of protecting its 1959 revolution.
