Taiwan's Stock Market Has Become the 7th Largest in the World. How?

Описание: The Taiwan Stock Exchange has overtaken the UK’s London Stock Exchange to become the world’s seventh-largest stock market by capitalization. Taiwan’s benchmark index, the Taiex, has grown over 10,000 points since the beginning of this year, a rise of around 35% to over US$4 trillion.

The AI boom is driving the surge. Taiwan produces the vast majority of the world’s critical AI hardware, fueling strong gains in its stock market. Taiwan’s chip giant TSMC alone accounts for over 40% of the Taiex.
