Back in March, the Lord gave me a melody I just couldn’t get out of my head. I went into the stairwell of my church intrigued, but intimidated because I knew I wanted to turn this melody into a song, but I had no idea where to even begin. Writing music was not an option for me so I started to experiment and compose the song by ear. I didn’t know how long the song should even be, how to layer it, when to add in certain parts, etc., but with the help of the Holy Spirit, He guided me through!!

A few months later, the Lord sent my friend @just.c___ along who is such a gifted musician and he added his piano to the song and it just took it to the next level. He spent hours salvaging my audio files, as this was not recorded in a professional studio; just me and the stairwell and a very puny microphone not designed to pick up strings. 🙃 I n-e-v-e-r expected the end result to turn out like this. Soooo grateful for all the time and energy you put into this! 🥺🙏🏽

To me, this song is a musical depiction of what it will be like when Jesus returns for His bride.
