Persona 4 - I'll Face Myself (Cover)

A few weeks ago, I had a subscriber reach out to me via email after watching my Persona covers I've been doing, and we got talking. After a bit of brief exchanges via email, we connected on Discord and got talking about everything guitar and Persona, and we decided to tackle a project together.

This cover is the first project that we've done together, and while I have done collaborations before on the cover front of stuff, this has probably been both the most fun and difficult cover to put together yet. I had a hard time recording my guitar parts in this one.

It's not even a hard song, but every part of it is so intricate, that if even one part is off, it throws the whole thing into chaos, plus DaVinci Resolve kept chugging while I was trying to edit the video, which drove me mental, but it's probably a sign I need to get a new hard drive.

However, both Alec and I worked to great lengths to get this finished and out there for you guys. We decided that just covering "I'll Face Myself -Battle-" wasn't exciting enough, so we put our own spin on the calmer version of the song (the one with the horn solo). I'm super stoked with how this turned out, and can't wait to get cracking on the next project!
