Exploring the “Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays” Botanical Gardens in Buenos Aires, Argentina

Описание: What does it say about me when my first stop in a new city is their Botanical Gardens? Hahaha. That aside, I was authentically impressed by the Botanical Gardens here in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I don’t know about you, but having been to a number of city gardens like this around the world, they often feel undermaintained and forgotten; like relics of a bygone era before smartphones, Netflix series, and ever-present social media.

Somehow, the Botanical Gardens of Buenos Aires have escaped this fate! They are abounding with life and vibrancy; overflowing with flowers, butterflies, birds, beautifully groomed paths, and grassy knolls.

This was a breath of fresh air (both literally and figuratively). You can tell these Botanical Gardens are still a crown jewel of this city and reflect the joy, warmth, and values of the Argentinean people.

We had a relaxing time strolling around these gardens and enjoying nature's amazing artistry. There were dozens of flowers I had never seen before. The ones that fascinated me the most were the various trumpet flowers the size of my head!
