Join me in todays video as we go through 3 x 7500 Gallon Koi Pond Build Part 1 - The Concrete Pour!

In the Koi Academy at the koi farm we are in the process of building three 7500 gallon koi ponds. Each of these will be made out of concrete block, laid flat, and then fibreglassed with a window! Each system will have its own drum system, skimmer and auto feeder.

We will start each 7500 gallon koi pond on an air source heat pump, but we will eventually be switching over to a gas fed boiler system.

The koi house will be home to over 150,000 koi ranging from 3 inch to 90cm! There will be over 40 different vats of fish to choose from, and whole host of different variety's of koi.

Over the next 12 weeks, i will go through how we are going to be sourcing our water, our electricity but most importantly, how we are going to be filtering all of out koi vats!

All of the fish you see will be from Yoshikigoi koi in poland, bred by master breeders Jos Aben and Merv.

The reason for this is ALL of our fish will be KHV,SVC & CEV free at source. This means any of our fish we place in your ponds, will come fully health checked and certified.
