We spent about a week in Olympic National Park in 9/2023. Hurricane Ridge was closed due to a fire at the top. Park Bus only could go up. My daughter visited there in 2004. The park encompasses nearly a million acres and protects a vast wilderness, thousands of years of human history, and several distinctly different ecosystems, including glacier-capped mountains, old-growth temperate rain forests, and over 70 miles of wild coastline.
