This applies to Chevy Silverado 2500hd, GMC Sierra 2500hd, Chevrolette Kodiak/GMC Topkick, Hummer H1, and most vehicles that are equipped with the 6.6L Duramax engine. If you’re doing a fully built transmission, replacing seals, doing the GM transfer case pump rub kit upgrade, or simply doing a refresh, this video will guide you step by step through the process of pulling the Allison 1000 transmission with tips and tricks to make the job easier.
