Welcome back to another video!
Today I’m sharing with you guys something that has been on my mind for a long time and I thought it would be great to start the debate.
The idea of a ‘Strong black women’ is something that I have always put as a goal to achieve but recently I decided to take a step back and properly analyse the consequences that it has in young women like me.
I’m not trying to say that we are portrayed as super heroes in the media because that’s definitely not true but we are represented has having polarized emotions that either have anger emotions or are overly excited and that doesn’t represent me as a black women and the black women in my life.
Hopefully you understand my message and analyse it for yourself!
