What does the LGBTQ2 apology mean to you?

For me the apology, it was the apology of my life.
I waited for this apology for about thirty years.
It was so important to me.
And when I received this apology, it touched me deeply.
It came from the heart and it was a truly historic moment.
People ask me why, why do you need an apology?
Because if you had a job, and then you were fired because of your sexual orientation, I think you'd want an apology.
Even if your sexual orientation is heterosexual, homosexual, or whatever, it has nothing to do with your ability to do your work.
We think we’re the experts in Canada, precisely because of our protection of rights and all that.
It was important to make that apology. And the compensation that came with it was also important. It changed my life.
