Just over three months ago, we began an experiment where we planted certified seed potatoes and organic store bought potatoes side by side in the same growing medium seeking to answer the question of which potatoes would perform the best.

These were yukon gold potatoes, and we had grown them before, but we had never done a comparison to see the difference between growing potatoes from the store and certified seed potatoes.

This is only one experiment, and so we need to keep that in mind as we look over the results, but I think that the results for this experiment are quite clear.
