Group meet in memory of Mors Kochanski, 2020

Описание: We did a Group meet in memory of Mors Kochanski at Hainworth Wood West Yorkshire. This was for most of us the first time out in 2020. This meet was organised by a few Admins of outdoor groups on Facebook. We wanted to celebrate Mors Kochanski’s life and what he stood for. All the skills he taught may it be survival, bushcraft or wilderness skills are all important skills that most of use on a daily basis and his pure dedication has always reflected and encouraged younger outdoorsman to learn the vital skills. As this was the first group meet we kept it for just a few people and took the opportunity to meet some of the people in real life.
We were hoping to do the try stick but as the location of the woods was changed last minute we concentrated in enjoying the woodland and the newly formed friendships. The campfire was always lit and a focal point for everyone, we spent hours cooking and sharing our adventures from the past year.
I was looking forward to this meet as I would get to meet a few people that I had been looking forward to meet for a long time. Paul Harvey, Justin Jewell, Jonathan Seth Smith were three people I had not met
And was looking forward to meet. Paul Harvey shares a passion for cooking outdoors just as I do and I was exited to share some idea and cooking with him just made the whole weekend awesome.
As a YouTube content creator having two other outdoor content creators was jus a bonus and we wasted little time in getting the cameras out.

Tim Mottishaw from kuukkeli Bushcraft has a great channel with some wild edible information and adventures both in the uk and Lapland he started his channel just over a year ago and we both been supporting each other all the way.

Justin Jewell from Northhertsbushcrafterjj has a awesome channel and shares the passion for sharing knowledge just as I do and we both support each other’s channel so this was a great time to meet.

Paul Harvey from Bushcraft Bush Cooking has promised that 2020 is going to be the year that he gives his channel all the time he can spare to bring you some awesome cooking videos and I for one will be watching.
We had talked online and followed each others posts closely but I am glad we got the chance to meet and cook together.
Gray Durgan put a lot of effort in to getting the location organised and we thank him for all his hard work.

I would like to extend our condolences to the family and friends of Mors Kochanski, a great man that will be greatly missed.
