One of the drivers items we like to build a collection of is 2 time Indy 500 winner Dan Wheldon. The British driver had success in the karting ranks and junior formula’s racing against the likes of Jenson Button, Anthony Davidson and Justin Wilson. He made the move Stateside and made it to IndyCar with 2 races at the end of 2002 before signing with the Andretti team for 2003. He would go on to become an IndyCar Champion and a 2 time Indy 500 winner. In this video we share the moment @daz_jack opens the latest addition to the Wheldon collection, Dan’s first ever IndyCar race helmet.
