Cornfields potties Eden's kittens and then kitnaps one

Описание: For now, Cornfields is having sleepovers in another room and joining Eden and the babies during the day when we're able to monitor his helpfulness, playfulness and enthusiasm for the kittens. Once they're bigger, and he's better able to contain his excitement, we will adjust the plan.

AUG 24, 2023: Eden gave birth early this morning to four beautiful kittens. Her fourth kitten, Erela, was born feisty and strong, but also with severe, unsurvivable craniofacial abnormalities. We wanted so badly to give her a chance to experience life, but her veterinary team let us know the kindest thing we could do for her was to help her cross the Bridge as gently as possible. Mom and the three surviving kittens are doing great. Names: Shaw (classic tabby tuxie girl), Sierra (lighter mackerel tabby tuxie girl), Snowberry (tuxie boy).

AUG 21 2023: Pregnant formerly feral mama Eden started to show signs of pre-labor, so we are officially on #KittenWatch! She has type A blood, and is accompanied by her BFF/birthing coach, Cornfields. Eden and Cornfields are from our Bramble colony, where we have catalogued 170+ cats: https://TinyKittens.com/bramble

JUL 15 2023: Four Bramble kittens have joined El Paso as he continues to recover from major surgery to repair his palate and remove a pellet that was lodged under his tongue.

MAY 2, 2023: After 8 days in the hospital, Scotia came home and was reunited with her kittens! She is on a variety of medications and requires daily bandage changes. The kittens will be bottle fed for the duration.

APR 28, 2023: As feared, Orinda's kittens did get ringworm from their mom, so we had to relocate them and begin intensive containment and treatment protocol. You can still watch them LIVE:    • LIVE: Hoshi and her kittens!  

APR 25 2023: Scotia developed acute mastitis and a very high fever overnight, and her fever did not respond to the usual treatment protocol. She has been admitted to the specialty hospital for intensive care, and her kittens have moved into the incubator and are being fed every 2-4 hours.
