Hi, I'm Patrick, and in this video, I explain why I think AST SpaceMobile ($ASTS) should consider working with Rocket Lab ($RKLB).
AST SpaceMobile currently uses SpaceX for its launch services, but SpaceX is a competitor with its Starlink service [01:05]. AST SpaceMobile is also considering Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket for some launches [01:29].
I believe Rocket Lab would be a great partner because their upcoming Neutron rocket is expected to have a lower launch price than SpaceX's [01:54]. Most importantly, Rocket Lab doesn't have its own competing broadband satellite network, which would eliminate a conflict of interest [02:50].
I suggest that it would be a "wise idea" for AST SpaceMobile's management to consider using Rocket Lab's services, especially once the Neutron rocket becomes available [03:13].
