Rupa Bhawani (1621–1721), also known as Alakheshwari, was a revered Kashmiri mystic and saint. Born in Safapore, Kashmir, into a prominent Pandit family, she is considered a spiritual luminary in Kashmiri Shaivism. She was deeply devoted to the path of self-realization and spirituality, emphasizing meditation, devotion, and service. Her teachings, often expressed in mystical verses known as Shruks, convey profound philosophical insights and are revered in Kashmiri culture.
