The BEST Corsair RAM EVER? Corsair Dominator GTX2 Overclocked to 2200MHz CL6 on Rampage Extreme

Описание: Recently I obtained three more GTX2 memory sticks from another user in the overclocking community, and a Q6600 CPU we will be retesting later. The Dominator GTX2 are the highest DDR3 bin from Corsair that feature the quite famous Elpida BASE Hyper memory ICs underneath the heatsinks. They are also very likely the best RAM Corsair ever produced. On this video we will be checking out how well they can overclock on my newest ASUS Rampage Extreme.

All of the sticks were incredibly good, being able to run the quite common 2000MHz 6-7-5-18 1T profile with around 1.78-1.81v for all of the memory sticks. That is among the best in the world when it comes to voltage requirement for that given configuration. The biggest surprise actually happened with the motherboard, as I managed to improve the max memory frequency from 2140MHz PL5 up to 2200MHz with PL5 and similar timings. A memory speed on LGA775 that has never been seen before, at least on ambient based cooling.
