New presenter Áine Hourican interviews New York GAA Games Manager Eamonn Fitzgerald.
Eamonn hails from Kerry and is doing important work at the grassroots level with New York teams and is passionate about growing the game in the Big Apple.
The 41-year-old moved to New York in 2022. Since then, Eamonn says he's been extremely lucky to have witnessed incredible strides in the sport this side of the pond with the senior footballers beating Leitrim last year and the hurlers winning the Connacht League in January.
Eamon was a selector with the senior hurlers and is also a selector with Kerry Gaelic Football Club New York, who won the championship and league double last year.
