That is at the heart of what drives Australian Federal Police Sergeant Scott Caulfield every single day as he heads to work with the WA Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Team (WA JACET).

WA JACET is a joint AFP and Western Australia Police Force team which is dedicated to combatting the national and international online exploitation of children.

From investigating offenders, to disrupting the cycle of abuse, Sgt Caulfield and the team work relentlessly to safeguard children from those who cause them harm.

Joint Anti-Child Exploitation Teams are based in most Australian states and territories. The teams were implemented in response to the high volume and speed of information the AFP receives about child sexual exploitation.

The JACET’s goal is to protect children, wherever they live, and ensure anyone who tries to harm them is identified and brought before the courts.
