Fear not, though vanlife is stepping back while we earn some pennies, we do the only sensible thing, which is take the opportunity to explore our local surroundings - and one of those local places just happens to be that little city called London! So it's off on the tube to a suburb of London that offers designer shops, houses worth millions of pounds, exceedingly good French style cakes and err, a huge heath that is notorious as one of the UK's oldest and largest gay cruising grounds. Everyone needs a hobby, and there's plenty of variety on Hampstead Heath - which includes a huge, wild garden structure lost in time. There's surprises galore here - and probably a few more at night if you're so inclined...
