In the Brazilian Nordeste, along a coastline beaten by the winds, Marc Thiercelin goes to meet a people who have built their identity with a strange boat: the jangada. Fishermen, but also competitors, they like more than anything to measure their sailing skills in regattas that crown the best sailors of the region. At 21 years old, Luis already has a great experience of the sea, since he was a child, he follows his fisherman father aboard his jangada and learns the rudiments of navigation. But Luis has a dream, to become "master", the highest recognition for a jangadeiro sailor.
