Описание: How easy is it to move from the UK to Cyprus? Depends on your situation but in general I would say not very. But like all things it all depends.

My own situation breaks down a little like this. I knew I wanted to move my business overseas and had researched this for several years. I knew Cyprus was an option and researched as much as I could as thoroughly as I could. In the end I made the leap and while I knew it was possible to move here as a UK citizen, it doesn't mean it was easy.

The easiest option is to purchase a property for £300K in order to gain residency. Failing that employment but without an EU passport you will struggle massively. It is possible which is my option to become a tax resident by forming a company here, and becoming a tax resident. My business has its head office in Cyprus. And I have a visa for 1 years on a temporary status. I will probably do the same next year, or apply for a 5 year visa. Time will tell.

The process is not difficult but bureaucy can be. Nothing is done quickly or effectively here. That is just how it goes "sigar sigar". It is of course possible and I can only talk on my own experience, difficult but not impossible.

I see on Facebook groups all of the time posts such as: "I do X and my boyfriend does Y - how easy will it be to find work?" The easy answer is very. If you didn't move before Brexit, it is almost impossible to find regular work. If you're not from Cyprus or the EU, you are technically a "third worlder". Lumped together with every other nation and not given priority.

Own business which you run online is the best option in my opinion.
