The Delta, is the type of fluvial opening, which means the opening of a river, that in this case is the Paraná River . This flow drags a great sediment deposition which forms this space, and for that reason its growth is constant, known as a labyrinth made up of lots of islands, streams, brooks, rivers and channels.

The Delta of Parana is the fifth greatest one of the world, that begins in the Diamante Port in the province of Entre Rios (in its neighborhoods is the National Park Pre-Delta) and continues towards the Southeast up until Rio de la Plata, reason why is the only one that ends its course in sweet water. Particularitities not less important for it to be a tourist center. Its great extension divides it in sections, the locality of Tigre is the first and most developed touristic section(the second section belongs to the delta of San Fernando declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO). It is thus, that the Tigre 's River Station, located on the river of the same name, at north of the province of Buenos Aires , is the most important communication center. The accesses are innumerable.

Catamarans and boats of stroll set sail with several excursions to the islands located in front of Tigre 's coasts. Excursions in canoes and kayaks with guides. It is the scene of sports water related, like oar, yachting, water skiing, regatas, surf, wakeboard, fishing, not in vain Tigre is the Cradle of the Oar.

In the islands the development of the forest is maximum, along with birds species, seen in the footpaths of trekking for the ecoturism practice. This it is the closest place, for tourism practice ventures, to the city of Buenos Aires .

Tigre 's River Station::. (305 Mitre st) Located on the Tigre river, close to its opening in the Lujan river.

Port of Fruits ::. In the market you can buy crafts and fruits of the islands

Museum House of Domingo F. Sarmiento- National Historical Monument::. (on the Sarmiento river and the Reyes Stream) It works in a small construction of wood raised in 1853 by Sarmiento. The house is protected externally with glass walls.

Victorica Stroll::. ( Lavalle street ) It begins in the confluence of the Lujan and the Tigre river, where stands the monument of the Rower. It finishes in the Ex-Tigre's Club. In its route we can find clubs and restaurants, coffees, museums.
