By using the example of a hypothetical hyperconverged 6-node cluster, Reisner explores the flexibility of the highly available cloud storage solution, XOSTOR. Beyond seamless virtual machine (VM) failovers and live migrations, an XCP-ng administrator can run VMs on any cluster nodes running XOSTOR, even nodes that do not have a local storage replica of the VM disk image.
