Dear Eddie's Wheels,
Thank you for building this wheelchair for our dog. He is now able to walk and eat without falling on the ground. Romeo has degenerative myelopathy. It is a progressive disease of the spinal cord in older dogs. The disease has an onset typically between 7 and 14 years of age. It begins with a loss of coordination in the hind limbs. A year before this video was taken, Romeo was able to jump from the floor to the bed which is about 2.5 feet. Six months before this, he was able to walk up the stairs. Now, we pretty much have to carry him around except for when he is in his Eddies Wheels. There are a lot of dog wheelchairs out there on the market, but we chose Eddie's Wheels because of the 20+ years of experience they have. It might be a little more expensive, but well worth it.
