Imphal, Manipur | Villagers from the Naga and Meitei communities staged a black-flag protest and burned tyres along National Highway-2 at Makhan village as Chief Minister Y Khemchand Singh passed through the area on his way to Kangpokpi. The villagers protested over the deaths of six Naga civilians whose bodies were discovered on June 10 at Leilon Vaiphei village, demanding justice and accountability.
