Ottawa’s Chinatown is a multicultural community centred around Somerset Street West, just west of Ottawa’s downtown core. You’ll know you’ve officially entered Chinatown when you pass under the beautiful Chinatown Gateway, or Royal Arch, which was unveiled in 2010 as a joint project with Beijing, Ottawa’s sister city¬. For those of you who love Asian food, Ottawa’s Chinatown does not disappoint with a variety of Asian dining options from sushi and pho, to ramen and dim sum.
