5-Minute Driveway Transformation (FULL INSTALL!)

Описание: Hello everyone, thanks for joining us again. So, this driveway is named The Lunar Driveway after the name of the block we used - Marshalls Lunar in Ice & Shadow. I’ve for the main body of the drive, Shadow around the perimeter.

The drive falls back to the house, so in order to comply with the drainage legislation we incorporated a soak away within the boundary & 5 meters away from the house. We used an attenuation cell and wrapped both the cell and the pit in Terram to step any silt ingress.

The driveway was excavated 250mm incorporating 160mm of Type 1 MOT
40mm of 6mm limestone
50mm block

The saw we used is an IQ362i and is an unbelievable piece of kit, it’s a dustless dry cut saw and is as fast, if not faster than a Stihl saw.

We concreted the edge and the outer block after the drive was laid, you can do it before but we usually prefer to do it this way on a curved edge as you can get a sweet curve marked out and also position it to avoid small cuts. We set the outer block lower and haunch it, then let it set and wack the drive the day after.
