Alongside this, they bake two kinds of bread: one in a clay tandoor and another deep-fried in oil. The dough is made from flour, mashed dates, and dried fenugreek leaf powder 🌿🍞 — a powerhouse bread for snowy days.

They also boil fresh doogh (yogurt drink) and hang it in cloth bags to prepare dried kashk powder — a traditional process that takes a full week of sun-drying ☀️.
Finally, with homemade butter, kashk powder, and soft dates, they bake a sweet, nourishing village dessert, perfect for the freezing winter ❄️🍬.
