Today’s game drive in Addo Elephant Park was quiet in comparison to earlier episodes. We didn’t come across close herds or dramatic moments, but we still enjoyed several peaceful sightings: elephants, zebras, a black-backed jackal, and a playful group of vervet monkeys.

The day began with an overcast sky and a calm drive through the northern section of the park. The silence of the bush and the slow pace of the morning reminded me that not every safari day is about action—some are about stillness and presence.
